The Evolution of My Ideas...

After studying various front covers I now have a clearer idea of how I will design my magazine. I want to create a magazine that bases around the horrorcore genre and similar punk/heavy rock alike. I like this idea because it gives me a unique magazine that still has room for a lot of development and a large range of features. I am going to change my style model to Kerrang! as they use similar conventions to attract the interest of a large following. A lot of codes they use could work with mine, e.g. the font type infers a feature of the genre 'smash' which not only stands out to the reader it gives extra information about what the music is like. I will study how Kerrang! carry this through to the contents page and stay consistent to their distinct house style.
